Undergraduate
Undergraduate programs offer the opportunity to earn Associates (2 year) and Bachelor (4 year) degrees. Students have a wide variety of different fields they can select to study. These fields of study are known as a Major.
2 year programs are usually completed at a private college or a Community College. These schools offer an Associates of Art (AA) or Associates of Science (AS) degree. The first 2 years of study is also known as "Lower-division" and successful completion of this coursework is usually able to be transferred to a 4 year university. Community Colleges in particular are very popular among international students as they generally are easier to gain admission into and are less expensive.
4 year undergraduate programs are completed at either a private or public University or College. Successful completion of the program will award the student either a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. There are many different school choices available with a diverse field of study.
